What is it?
A one-day programme designed make participants understand the concept of diversity, the law and the reasons behind it, the policies of the government and their own organisation.

Who should attend?
All employees of organisations committed to diversity, particularly managers of diverse teams.

Previous experience required?
None.

Benefits to the organisation?
This course will make staff at every level think more inclusively and be more aware of the law and company policy on diversity. They are therefore less likely to practise deliberate or unwitting discrimination on grounds of race, religion, disability or sexual orientation.

Benefits to the individual?
Greater insight into one’s own beliefs and feelings and diversity issues generally.

What ground is covered?
Role play, exercises and instructional sessions to make participants think about diversity issues and their own attitudes, and be aware of the reasons for diversity, the law and company policy.
