Bristol is a world city for filmmaking and media. It’s the home of the BBC Natural History Unit, animators including Aardman Animations and bolexbrothers, numerous filmmakers, crews and post-production houses. The city hosts three international film festivals – Brief Encounters (shorts), Animated Encounters (animation) and Wildscreen, the world’s top celebration of wildlife and environmental film-making.

Bristol is 200km (120m) west of London and easily accessible by car (Motorways M4 and M32); by rail (1hr 20mins from London Paddington); or by air (flights from Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris and New York)
